2 Ingredient Raw Confections: Chocolate Dipped Candy

It’s something I started making recently. My sister keeps saying that they are the best dipped candy she’s ever had.

Chocolate dipped dates. It’s smart because it’s apeshit easy to do and the dates are used to sweeten the chocolate so no additional sweeteners are required. The nut-like caramel flavor of the date combined with the very aromatic fresh chocolate taste like the two where meant to be.
…I like meant-to-be’s.
…Especially when it comes to something sweet.

The Ingredients

*Raw Cacao Paste
*Dates

The Recipe

*Cut the dates in half and remove pits.

Dates

*Refrigerate the dates.
(It’s necessary to thoroughly chill them so that the chocolate begins to harden on them the moment they’re dipped.)

*Melt the cacao paste in a food dehydrator or double boiler.

*Dip the dates!

At this point you can sprinkle crushed nuts, coconut shreds, cacao powder, or other yummy things over them.

*And place them in the fridge to harden.

Wait about 20 minutes for the chocolate to harden, and you’ve got chocolate dipped candies.
