Way back (when Flash MX, and the new video capabilities presented by it, were shit hot) Tanja and I did a little co-lab where we created an interactive video driven breakup letter written by the teenager from hell (Alexis, as acted by Tanja), to her plush moose. The piece was an exploration in interactivity and the ways that video can be incorporated into it. After making its rounds in the viral realm, it landed as an interesting review on Jay is Games, where it sparked quite a discussion. We didn’t think that people would take it so serious, so what better way to fuel the madness than go to YouTube with it!
Exactly. After a lengthy hiatus Alexis rose from the dead to start her own YouTube channel in all its freaky, high pitched, like totally mispleld gliter glory… As well as a blog (don’t click if you’re prone to seizures).
In other worlds I’ve been working on more apparel designs…
And freaking sneakers.

Sylvia,
I use Speedball fabric paint, pens, markers, rollers, block printing. It’s mixed media. The clothes start off as being all white, which is the key if you want the colors to come out right.
