Like hell! The Business Analyst’s resume site on steroids has received such an overwhelmingly positive response from job recruiters, employers, and head hunters that we may be leaving before October’s over. I really didn’t think the site would make such an impression. Most interviewers where pretty much sold on him before he even entered the door. I’ll be glad to get out of here… things are beginning to feel incredibly claustrophobic. Slovenia is very much of a small town / small town mentality driven country. Coming from a place like California it can really gnaw on you. Don’t get me wrong here! The country is beautiful, biking kicks ass… it’s all good… as long as you avoid the natives. Although, not that it matters since I literally live behind the monitor. One of the funniest incidents was buying a place here and finding out that the neighbors where squatting in the apartment (No. As in squatters, I mean, not sitting in a crouching position). They started to set out guidelines of what area of the place they use, and what area’s we can use… I’ll be damned.
We’ve never been yelled at or received so many death threats by so many colorful people before. Wow! All these stories…
Awesome crazy!
Well, if you’re interested in a pretty accurate summary of life in this funky Balkan country then this post makes a fine read.
Ok so! To conclude this very sensational three year experience here’s my last (slightly grimier) Slovenian photo post.
…Last?
…For now.
…We’ll see.

I could imagine they’d make a pretty nutritional meal.
o_O That place needs a serious renovation plan.
The town is in a constant state of “renovation” but people keep breaking it (Vandalism. You can get away with murder here… quite literally). I don’t think they/them/or anybody could care less. Just two houses down the other night, on one of the cities more “historic” buildings, the roof literally collapsed all over the sidewalk… It’s all “culturally protected” too (which doesn’t mean much here).
Whatever. I’m baffled to no extent by the logic that drives this… then again I could say that about any place.
I will be glad to leave… even if it means getting on an… airplane O_o
I hate flying… can we sit together? So you can hold my hand? Most strangers don’t like it when I hold on to them during take off…. ; (
Yes, Tanja. Hold me!
…I’m sorry. That was gay.
ach, graffiti glad its’ not on my walls! on the upside, it’s readable! :)
Hey is blue suburbia down? Because I keep trying to go there and for like, the last 2 weeks it doesn’t get past the loading screen. And when i say ‘down’ I don’t mean like, “I’m down for that” or, “Put the paper down” I mean like, “I’m down with the sickness.” Know what I’m sayin’?
Cheers for pointing that out. I thought I fixed it but it’s… random. Should work now. Mind checking?
Many thanks and beer.
Hey it works! thx
