I persisted! The macOS version of “she danced in the wind like a holographic dream before the world died” is here x)

I wasn’t able to give up on the macOS version, so after a lot of hard work (way too much hard work… the working was HARD)… there’s now a functional macOS version.

Get it here: https://alienmelon.itch.io/flower

Some features do not work, but this does not impact the overall experience.
You cannot save poems to your desktop so you don’t get the ending poem.
You cannot change resolution settings, this is because those break the browser widget that’s being used. The one on macOS works very different, and has restrictions, so anything that causes a resolution change breaks it.

This is also a development build, with the console disabled. This is because for the shipping setup the browser widget breaks completely, and I really don’t have the energy to figure out why… So this is good enough.

I tested it, and this works. You will however need a good relatively new Apple computer to run it.

Please note the minimum requirements in the readme.

To be able to run this you can use Dequarantine for macOS https://fluffy.itch.io/dequarantine
Or use the itch.io launcher to bypass Gatekeeper.

…But hey it works! I beat macOS! xD

Gif appropriate to how I feel right now:

Special thanks to this post which helped me with an issue I had in upgrading this project to the most recent version of Unreal. I’ll leave it here incase I have the same problem again.
