A Flash game developed for the Nintendo Wii&#8230; which (I have to add) was like wrestling a gigantic mastodon possibly weighing several hundred tons with many appendages protruding from it&#8217;s mouth. HORRIBLE appendages.<br \/>\n&#8230;I digress. It&#8217;s totally playable (possibly more so, since there are less appendages involved) on the PC.<br \/>\nOriginally an &#8220;algorithmic sound toy&#8221;, <a href=\"http:\/\/haxxx.alienmelon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Haxed by Megahurtz<\/a> began as a tripped-out pixelated interactive music video based on a <a href=\"http:\/\/nathalielawhead.com\/noodles\/Soundtrack.html\" target=\"_blank\">dynamically generated soundtrack<\/a> that is mixed during game-play. It eventually grew into a full-fledged casual game. With the advent of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamasutra.com\/view\/feature\/3536\/the_arty_party.php\" target=\"_blank\">games as art<\/a>&#8221; the initial idea was to explore this trend in a musical sense. Posing the question, how would music of the future &#8220;look&#8221; in light of the interactive revolution?<\/p>\n<p>The game takes place in the colorful realm of cyberspace where Minibyte, had been hacked by megahurtz. Your hand-to-eye coordination is put to a test as you have to speed-feed him hurtz to prevent all his data from being lost forever&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/haxxx.alienmelon.com\">Glick<\/a> to plai.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/haxxx.alienmelon.com\" title=\"Play!!1\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/nathalielawhead.com\/noodles\/1.gif\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"right\"><em>&#8220;I am going to get drunk,&#8221; a small written message said, which appeared in the corner of my eye. &#8220;Uncannily drunk.&#8221;<br \/>\nI attempted to ignore the message.<br \/>\n&#8220;Piss drunk. I might urinate on some random, stationary objects. Perhaps a comrade or two.&#8221; My companion said, this time over the audio communicator.<br \/>\n&#8220;Alright&#8230;&#8221; I responded.<br \/>\n&#8220;Honest.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Undoubtedly, Mr. Steelton.&#8221; I replied.<br \/>\n&#8220;Rightly so, Mr. Leatherby.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s my newest game.
