Since a lot of people have been asking if I do this upon commission, have a boutique, or do it professionally (Yes, I’d like to), I’m throwing out a few pictures of apparel items I’ve made (T’s and men’s polos), and will be updating it as the collection grows.<\/p>\n

“Bewm! Pixel splatter!” Shirt.

“Red Chameleon Skeleton” Shirt.
\nThe shirt was white to begin with. I started by spraying a light layer of blue in random areas, and then taped ‘x’s and stencil drops on it, followed by an excessive layer of red. The chameleon stencil took the longest to complete… I wasn’t counting on their skeletons being so complicated… (If you make a stencil you want to keep reusing, you can cut it from acetate paper.) When the red dried I sprayed the stencil negative on the front, tediously outlined it, and put the same on the back (along with leaves and twigs from the yard)… with a handful of other details. It turned out to look a bit like a photoshop… just done by hand… phew.<\/p>\n

“Big Red Bug” Girl hoody.
\nMaking this one was a real monster. Several layers of color where sprayed over a plain white hoody, after which the garment was randomly covered with custom ant stencils. A fabric marker was used to outline the shapes creating details such as 3-d x’s, and defining the pockets with a doted line, giving the design a unique “cartoon” like effect… basically… Like I said, it took an insane amount of work.<\/p>\n

“Big Red Bug” boy-beater shirt.
\nI sprayed several layers of color over a plain white shirt for the orange texture, then rolled red over areas to create an uneven spray-splat effect. After the base was done I created custom ant stencils and sprayed them over certain areas. The final touches have been made by outlining any of the shapes with fabric marker… Plus a lot of other stuff, but I’ll spare the details.<\/p>\n

“Crocodile Lizard” men’s polo. Another favorite I rolled stripes over a white polo shirt using a gratuitous amount of paint for an uneven texture. On the back I rolled a stencil of a crocodile lizard, then outlined him with fabric marker. Diluted fabric paint was later used to create the final touches.<\/p>\n

“B-boy stencil” womans t-shirt. I rolled over a stencil negative with a thick layer of paint to create the interesting and random texture, then hand-painted in details like the circular lines and paint drops. On the reverse of the shirt is a music note stencil design.<\/p>\n

“Glow-in-the-dark Raven” boy-beater-shirt. Like the above I used a stencil negative of a raven, and branches from BlueSuburbia, then hand-painted in lines and paint drops. On the reverse is a glow-in-the-dark raven.<\/p>\n
