\ni caught myself again, contemplating end
\nleft to brush off nightmares i simply can not mend
\nnevertheless… despite all, i still am
\nand strength is heaven sent
\nif i could i would run fast, hard, and far
\nthe spirit will scar just as easily as the body does

\nso i choose to hold no grudges and turn away hurt
\npondering past wrongs is to give them more attention than they deserve
