Back to Cali

Like hell! The Business Analyst’s resume site on steroids has received such an overwhelmingly positive response from job recruiters, employers, and head hunters that we may be leaving before October’s over. I really didn’t think the site would make such an impression. Most interviewers where pretty much sold on him before he even entered the door. I’ll be glad to get out of here… things are beginning to feel incredibly claustrophobic. Slovenia is very much of a small town / small town mentality driven country. Coming from a place like California it can really gnaw on you. Don’t get me wrong here! The country is beautiful, biking kicks ass… it’s all good… as long as you avoid the natives. Although, not that it matters since I literally live behind the monitor. One of the funniest incidents was buying a place here and finding out that the neighbors where squatting in the apartment (No. As in squatters, I mean, not sitting in a crouching position). They started to set out guidelines of what area of the place they use, and what area’s we can use… I’ll be damned.
We’ve never been yelled at or received so many death threats by so many colorful people before. Wow! All these stories…
Awesome crazy!
Well, if you’re interested in a pretty accurate summary of life in this funky Balkan country then this post makes a fine read.

Ok so! To conclude this very sensational three year experience here’s my last (slightly grimier) Slovenian photo post.

…Last?

…For now.

…We’ll see.
